Every year the Medieval Festival of Elche involves the city in the mistic and sounds of remote times. International artists bring through music, theatre and parallel activities the opportunity to encounter the past.

Elche will host a world congress of Medieval Theatre

This kind of meetings have been held since 30 years ago and it is the second time that is celebrated in Spain (the first one was seven years ago in Girona).

Researchers wil take the opportunity to see the Misteri d’Elx, which nomination as world heritage was decisive to choose Elche as annual headquarter.
